An evening meeting. The site, owned by Avon Wildlife Trust, is a small area of species-rich grassland with an abundance of butterflies, (200 vascular plants in 2018). There are also ponds and a steep wooded bank. It is grazed late in the season and GNS recently awarded a grant to the Trust to improve the fencing. A member of the Avon Wildlife Trust Land Management Team will show us around.
Meet at the entrance to the reserve ST 71649381. There is limited parking at the entrance but some spaces along the roadside to the N and S.
