Coombe Hill Nature Reserve sits just to the north of
Gloucester on a former canal. There is a mixture of wetland and meadow habitats. It is home to
a variety of bird species and there is an opportunity to use the bird hides to observe waterfowl on
the scrapes. The site is accessed along the old tow path which is uneven and muddy. Stout
waterproof footwear is advised and binoculars are useful.
