A general/pot luck recording visit to this Woodland Trust wood on the Cotswold scarp just north of Wotton under Edge, to record spring flora in a mixed broadleaved woodland (some ancient), with remnants of conifer plantation.
Meet and park in the layby areas on the Old London Road at ST758943 at the top of the lane from Waterley Bottom (or park a little further back by the scout camp if all spaces taken).

PLEASE NOTE:  Access to the Old London Road is restricted to the Wotton (western) end because of long term roadworks closure of the B4058 Rushmire Hill at its junction with Old London Road (its eastern end).  You will therefore need to reach the Old London Road via the B4060 from Cam/Dursley to Wotton, where it starts on the outskirts of Wotton (there are large “Road Closed Ahead” signs at the junction).
