Please note that we’ve received the following message from the Cheltenham Biodiversity Festival which has had to be cancelled…
Sadly, we are not in a position to run the festival this year and have made the difficult decision to cancel it. The reason for this is that two weeks ago, we unexpectedly lost our first-aid cover, which had been arranged since September last year. Despite our best efforts to find alternative cover, we have unfortunately not been successful. Without qualified first-aiders in place, we cannot run a safe event, remain compliant with our risk assessment, or meet the requirements of our insurance policy. We are deeply disappointed that the event will not go ahead. As a team, we are passionate about highlighting the fantastic work being done locally to support and promote biodiversity, and we were very much looking forward to sharing this with the wider public. I sincerely apologise for the short notice – please be assured that we have been working hard to find alternatives. We very much hope to be able to run the festival in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
