Meet at Lynes Barn which is between Sudeley Castle and the village of Ford, there is parking for about 6 cars, so share if you can. The walk will be about 1.5 to 2 hours and then lunch could be taken in the Plough Pub in the village of Ford. Please advise Alan Waterman if this is your intention so he can alert the pub. ( alan.waterman1@btopenworld.com) (If you intend to eat at the pub then you could park there and then one person could transport several folks to the meeting point).
You have all no doubt read Peter’s interesting articles about the geomorphology of the Cotswold region in recent editions GNS News (Sept 2020, December 2020 and March 2021 ) This walk will be led by Peter Jeans and this is an excellent opportunity to see and get a better understanding of these land forms.
