A joint GNS / Tewkesbury Goes Wild Meeting to be led by Mike Smart (GNS) with Cate Cody (Tewkesbury G W) – this is part of the annual “Tewkesbury Goes Wild” festival.
Meet at 9am on Saturday 18th July at King John’s Bridge, Tewkesbury on the A38 Mythe Road north of the town centre, What 3 Words; biggest.procures.speeds, OS Grid Ref SO 893 332 for a walk along the Avon to Twyning and back, on public footpaths (Shakespeare’s Avon Way) aiming to look at summer wildlife along the River Avon.
Parking is available in public car parks in Tewkesbury, the nearest being Oldbury Road car park, Oldbury Road, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 5LR – 5 minutes’ walk away from the meeting point.

As with all field meetings please dress appropriately for the weather conditions and wear sensible footwear, bring with you drinks and snacks if required (plenty of water to keep hydrated in hot weather) and binoculars, a field guide if you have one and perhaps a notebook and pencil.
