Meet at the entrance to Kites Hill Reserve at SO875132 on a narrow road (Portway) running on the south-western boundary of Prinknash Park. Parking is limited so we may need to be innovative. Kites Hill was farmland given to the World Land Trust for conservation management. The views are stunning, and the meadows, grazing land, woodland edges, ferny streams and occasional springs make for a varied flora. If we have time, we can walk through the woods to Painswick Beacon. Bring lunch and stout footwear.
