Sunday 19th February. 13.30 onwards. Leigh Woods, Bristol. These are the woods on the south-west side of the Avon, opposite Clifton Downs. Meet in North Road by the entrance to the woods, ST555730 for a stroll through the woods for winter twig ID and to visit the site of Clive Lovatts ashes. There are several ID guides for winter twigs and if you have one it would be useful to bring it along. As always wear suitable footwear for muddy paths.
