A joint meeting with the Bristol Naturalists’ Society to look at the very species-rich open east-facing banks of this Cotswold hillfort. More than 200 plant species can be found over 300 m.
Meet at the northern entrance to the fort in the roadside parking area. This is on the west side of the B4066 Crawley Hill, 1km north of Uley at ST787993. We expect to see the population of wall whitlowgrass Drabella muralis (formerly Draba muralis), for which we have recent records in only 12 monads in Gloucestershire.
