A short evening pop-up meeting to look at some interesting plants colonising areas recently logged and cleared in Westridge Woods above Wotton under Edge. In particular to see species such as Fallopia convolvulus (Black Bindweed) plus Chaemorhinum minus (Small Toadflax) and Kickxia elatine (Sharp-leaved Fluellen) – plants more usually associated with arable locations.
The route is generally level, though a little rough in places, with the weather forecast to still be dry and warm.
