Terrain: Some paths are steep with rocky sections.

The walk explores Wye Valley Woods, one of the UK’s most important ancient woodlands. Following paths from the valley floor to higher ground to see ground flora such as Drymochloa sylvatica, Paris quadrifolia, Cardamine impatiens and Dryopteris affinis agg. Along with mature Tilia cordata and other canopy trees.

Wear suitable clothing and footwear, bring food, drinks, hand lens and ID books.
