A talk by Dr David J Bullock – Bats along an urban to rural canal corridor in the Stroud Valleys: Implications for development

David Bullock is an ecologist who retired from the post of Head of Nature Conservation in National Trust two years ago. He now volunteers as Chair of both  Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and Vincent Wildlife Trust, and in his village community shop. In the rest of his time he grows vegetables, plays music and does as much natural history as possible. The survey along canal corridors, which was voluntary and non-affiliated, was driven by a desire to gauge the impact of  restoration and construction works in and along canals on a highly mobile element of local wildlife which is of conservation concern: Bats.

This is a Zoom talk which starts at 19.30, and the meeting will be open from 19.15 for attendees to sign in before the start.
